Mission Statement
To fulfill the Great Commission and to disciple others as God uses us to build His Kingdom. We support Local, National, and International missionaries and organizations through congregational gifts of Faith Promise.
LOCAL
Light of Life Ministries – Craig Schweiger, Executive Director – As a ministry of Jesus Christ, Light of Life will provide a home for the homeless and food for the hungry, and will build disciples for the Kingdom of God among the poor, addicted, abused and needy.
HZGMC Childcare Center – Licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and serving the community as an outreach ministry since September 1992. We nurture children ages 6 weeks old to 6 years old in a Christ-centered environment and promote a safe, secure, and loving atmosphere in which each child may develop and grow emotionally socially, intellectually, physically, and spiritually, by receiving a well-rounded experience.

NATIONAL
Christian Sports International – Matt Davis –
“Changing Lives & Strengthening Communities since 1990.” The mission is to change the hearts and lives of kids and their families with the good news of Jesus Christ, by impacting lives through sports and education programs both locally and throughout the world.
INTERNATIONAL
Frank & Sharon Martin – World Gospel Mission – Frank serves as Missionary Pastor to missionaries around the world.
Orphan’s Tree – George Steiner, President – (Russia)
Their mission statement is, “Bringing the benefits of family and God’s hope to orphans when they are most alone.” Their five core areas for outreach continue to be: Education, Leadership, Young Families, Job Preparation and Placement, and Life Skills.
Orphan’s Tree is committed to building on the foundation that God has already laid in their lives.
Dan & Carolyn Rehder and son, Felix – Members of HZGMC and missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators serving on the Global Sign Language Team (Columbia). Due to the challenges associated with the deaf learning to read spoken languages, reaching the deaf with the Gospel is a substantial challenge. Translating the Bible into sign language is a much-needed ministry as only 2% of the 70 million deaf worldwide have the scriptures in a language they clearly understand.
Lowell & Claudia Wertz – Joy in the Harvest – (Tanzania, Africa) A radio technician and pilot. Joy in the Harvest is a Christian mission dedicated to serving Christ in Africa, founded in 1992. Their motto is “…so they may know Jesus…”
